The sad truth about how Obama got elected. By now, I imagine that a lot of US citizens are wondering how in the world Obama got elected. In a video you won't want to miss, see just how Obama got elected.
One of the sad things about a democracy is that virtually EVERYONE gets to cast a vote. If you have enough voters turn out who don'thave a clue, you can actually, VERY-EVIDENTLY, since Obama is clearly still President, elect someone who leaves the intelligent segment of the US population wondering...HOW ON EARTH DID OBAMA GET ELECTED?
The sad thing is that there is nothing to prevent a similar disaster from happening again and again. All a candidate has to do apparently is to promise a lot of "free" perks for the American population and in they go. All we can hope is that the clueless voters who elected Obama thinking he would bring some amazing change, perhaps through ignorance or blind luck, will be so sorely disappointed that they become so disgusted with the lackluster performance of their "chosen one" that they don't bother to vote next time around. The sad truth is they are probably all still so sorely=misinformed that they have no clue just how bad things really are under the direction of their chosen President.
But hey...I guess I could run for President next time around...Want some "free" healthcare anyone?
Peggy Agar Obama Sweetie - Peggy Agar was called "sweetie" by Barack Obama as he dodged the question from Peggy Agar about how he planned to help American auto workers. Apparently, Obama couldn't think of an answer quick enough so he put off Peggy Agar with the comment, "hold on one second, sweetie."
Obama later apologized to Peggy Agar for calling her, "sweetie," but Peggy Agar refers to herself as "sweetie" in this video. Obama never did answer Peggy Agar's question, although Peggy Agar's question certainly deserved an answer.
As for the question about how to help American auto workers, maybe Obama might have suggested that the auto manufacturers develop car designs that people actually want to BUY. With gas prices hovering at around four dollars per gallon, it might be time for American auto manufacturers to begin to think about developing some small, fuel-efficient hatchbacks instead of huge, clumsy cars and gas-guzzling SUV's...just a thought.
A sure way to help the US Auto Workers would be to build cars that consumers WANT.;) Focus on quality and fuel-efficiency and concentrate on building a car that offers solid value and incredible fuel economy. Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door.;) If you sell more cars, your workers keep their jobs. It isn't rocket science...design better cars, the rest will take care of itself. American auto makers are too slow to respond to changes in the marketplace. It might be smart to develop car platforms that are flexible and can easily be adapted to changes in consumer sentiment. Oh wait...this all makes too much sense...nevermind, sweetie.
One thing we have to remember is that Peggy Agar was asking this question of a man, running for President of the United States who thinks that there are at LEAST 57 United States.;) How can we expect Barack Obama to come up with a viable answer to a legitimate question if he can't even remember how many stars are on the American flag?

I have a feeling that a lot of Democrats are left scratching their heads as they contemplate their choice between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. I am sure that there are many Democrats that feel the need to remain loyal to their party, so they are left deciding...Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama...wow, what a choice.:D

If indeed a determination is made by the powers that be that John McCain is not eligible to run for President, this would be one of the biggest oversights in American history.;)
It is official, John McCain has clinched the Republican nomination. George Bush, apparently wanting to wait for the 2008 Primary Election Results before endorsing a candidate, has given John McCain his official endorsement.
I am not sure that if I were John McCain, that I would find an endorsment by George Bush to be all that helpful.;)

Barack Obama saw his winning streak come to a close today in Ohio and Texas. Hillary Clinton soundly defeated Barack Obama in Ohio and enjoyed a narrow victory over Obama in Texas.
Barack Obama did win in Vermont, but Ohio and Texas are "all or nothing" states and the results narrowed Barack Obama's lead over Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton smugly announced that, "as Ohio goes, so goes the nation." I have a feeling that much of the nation is feeling a bit sick and queasy (to say the least) at the thought of Hillary Clinton as President.;)

Chelsea Clinton hit the campaign trail to try to drum up votes for Hillary Clinton's sagging campaign. Chelsea Clinton is headed to colleges and universities to try to pursuade the smart-younger voters to vote for Hillary Clinton.
Apparently the college and university crowd is smarter than Hillary Clinton imagined and the majority plans to vote for Obama.:D
Don't say ANYTHING negative about Chelsea Clinton being used shamelessly by her mother to appeal to a particular demographic, or use any youthful slang that Hillary Clinton might not understand, if you happen to comment about Chelsea Clinton's campaigning for Hillary Clinton or you might wind up on Hillary Clinton's bad side.;)
Hillary Clinton got a bit upset about a comment made on MSNBC that Chelsea Clinton had been somehow exploited by the Clinton Campaign. That isn't an exact quote, but Hillary Clinton hates street slang, so I paraphrased out the offensive parts to give you a feeling for how boring life will if Hillary Clinton gets in office...yawn.;)
Apparently, the media is now subject to government censure and we now under the new Clinton regime have to be careful what we say.;) I guess we are getting a taste of what life would be like under the Clinton administration.:D

Barack Obama's campaign seems to be gaining momentum and Hillary Clinton seems to be waning in popularity as the primaries roll by and the votes are counted. It is still a close race if you consider the number of delegate votes that each has gained, but Hillary Clinton seems to be waning in popularity while Barack Obama is drawing more attention and more votes.
Barack Obama was also a winner at the Grammys for the audio version of his book.

The United States is like a person who lives beyond their means by using credit cards. They keep charging their purchase and forget about the mounting debt. The result is a huge bill that they can't possibly repay so they just ignore the huge balance owed and continue to spend and spend, digging ever deeper into debt.
I can't imagine that many people support candidates such as Hillary Clinton that continue to offer more and more social programs in return for your votes.
We simply can't afford any more social programs. The problem is that many people can't understand Ron Paul's message because the United States mirrors their own credit-based lifestyle.;)

It is always interesting when politicians try to buy votes with perks and promises of "free" services. People who won't pay for health insurance wind up paying for health insurance through higher taxes and most-likely at a greater cost due to the inefficiency of a government-run program.

Hillary Clinton is all about giving us things. The all-mighty Hillary Clinton will cure the social woes of all Americans by making our lives better through more social programs. We all pay for these little crusts of bread that Hillary Clinton promises to throw to us, if only we vote for her...no thanks.;)
