One of the sad things about a democracy is that virtually EVERYONE gets to cast a vote. If you have enough voters turn out who don'thave a clue, you can actually, VERY-EVIDENTLY, since Obama is clearly still President, elect someone who leaves the intelligent segment of the US population wondering...HOW ON EARTH DID OBAMA GET ELECTED?

The sad thing is that there is nothing to prevent a similar disaster from happening again and again. All a candidate has to do apparently is to promise a lot of "free" perks for the American population and in they go. All we can hope is that the clueless voters who elected Obama thinking he would bring some amazing change, perhaps through ignorance or blind luck, will be so sorely disappointed that they become so disgusted with the lackluster performance of their "chosen one" that they don't bother to vote next time around. The sad truth is they are probably all still so sorely=misinformed that they have no clue just how bad things really are under the direction of their chosen President.

But hey...I guess I could run for President next time around...Want some "free" healthcare anyone?

It has been just a few short months ago that all across the nation cries rang out about our great new hope...Obama. Here, in a video you won't want to miss, see our mighty leader bow to Saudi King Abdullah like a loyal subject. Obama was supposed to save the nation, but so far he has been far from impressive.

It really bothers me to see our nation's ruler bowing down to anyone. Before Obama was elected I was still somewhat sure that America still had some faint, lingering hope of a return to being the greatest nation on earth...but when I see our President bowing down to a foreign ruler, it makes me wonder.

I didn't vote for Obama...I am merely consoled by being entertained by watching him flounder around as he tries to be President for four years. That is the joy and pain of living in a democracy...those who voted for Obama have to live with what they voted into office...the rest of us have to suffer right along with them...but at least we can enjoy the show.;)

The funny thing is, since Obama took office, I havn't heard anyone chanting Obama, Obama over-and-over for a while or singing little Obama songs about how Obama is going to rock our world.;) Maybe Obama Girl is unemployed like the rest of the country now that the election is finally over and the reality that is Obama is starting to become readily apparent...even to those who decided to ignore the fact that Obama didn't even know how many states were in the United States before he was elected...sigh

Obama Bike Ride Video - Obama on a bike ride with his family...how wholesome. Who could complain about something as healthy, green, clean and family oriented, like a bike ride with your family. If you watch carefully, you may have to rewind, you can see that Obama is letting his daughter do most of the pedaling.:D

Obama was smart to cap off his weekend off with a bike ride with family and friends. His daughter got an awesome cardiovascular workout and the environmentalists, bike riders and family values special interest groups just eat this up. The bike ride was a smooth move, Obama.;)

Obama Wins Nomination - Obama wins in the final two primaries sealed his nomination as the 2008 Democratic candidate. The good news is that the United States is safe from Hillary Clinton for four more years.;) The bad news is that many Democrats were so hard-pressed at the abysmal thought of Hillary Clinton as president that they were forced to vote for Obama. The old adage, "any port in a storm," comes to mind.

Once I learned that Obama didn't even know how many states he would lead as president, I lost my respect for him as a candidate. Early on in his campaign I actually thought him an intelligent, viable candidate for office. As the Obama Campaign progressed, I came to realize that Obama lacked the qualities that are essential for leadership. He actually seems about as qualified to lead the United States as Miss Teen South Carolina.

Obama is also beginning to preach as he delivers his speeches, to the point where he is beginning to sound like a bad television evangelist. His style seems patronizing and he doesn't seem to talk to us, he seems to talk above us as he delivers a bad sermon.

Although I am cheered by the news that Hillary Clinton won't lead our nation for the next four years, I am equally disheartened that the Democratic Party was unable to find a more-impressive candidate among their ranks. From what I have observed of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, it wouldn't take much.

For now I guess we just have to revel in the knowledge that Hillary Clinton is finished...sigh.

In an interesting political video by the Associated Press that political pundits won't want to miss, Barack Obama is on a roll while Hillary Clinton seems to be rolling over.

Barack Obama's campaign seems to be gaining momentum and Hillary Clinton seems to be waning in popularity as the primaries roll by and the votes are counted. It is still a close race if you consider the number of delegate votes that each has gained, but Hillary Clinton seems to be waning in popularity while Barack Obama is drawing more attention and more votes.

Barack Obama was also a winner at the Grammys for the audio version of his book.

Congrats on the Grammy Award, Barack Obama. I think Obama Girl should have won a Grammy award for her music video - I Have A Crush On Obama...it probably produced as many votes.;)

One would think that Hillary Clinton had enough of a fight on her hands as she constantly spars with Barack Obama...but no, in a Hillary Clinton video posted on YouTube that you will NOT want to miss, Hillary Clinton goes after McCain in an all-out negative campaign.

I had always thought that at this point the candidates focused on getting the nomination, but Hillary Clinton in this ad that is scheduled to air nationally beginning January 31, 2008, is already seemingly beginning the presidential race.

Either that, or my guess is that she feels that Ron Paul is the best Republican candidate and is trying to paint John McCain as a Liberal, or she is hoping that John McCain is enough of a Liberal to run on the Democratic ticket so that the Democrats finally have a viable candidate.;) Only Hillary Clinton knows her true motive and the rest of us are probably much better off not knowing the inner workings of Hillary Clinton's mind.;)

Obama Girl is back...well, sort of.;) A few days ago these ads for Obama by who else, Obama Girl are out and free for public viewing. I think someone forgot to study the demographic of Star Wars Fans.;) It is my guess that most of them can't VOTE.;) If I remember right, I outgrew Star Wars at age 10.

Obama Girl is just not as effective when she is not wearing a bikini.:D Oh, I remember why I outgrew Star Wars...GIRLS...they seemed more interesting.:D Now I get it. Politics = Girls. I think this is the same reasoning that has Hillary Clinton running for President...only it makes more sense.;)
