The Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair photos were meant to be artistic in nature and according to People.com regarding the Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair photo in question, "Miley's grandmother and her teacher were there when she shot it [the photo that proved embarassing]."

Apparently, through the miracle of modern photography, the photo appeared much more revealing than it really was and the end result proved embarassing to Miley Cyrus.

Arianna Huffington Speech - Arianna Huffington is the editor of The Huffington Post, a syndicated columnist and accomplished author. My question is...Is the media really biased?

I watched this video three times...yes THREE TIMES. Arianna Huffington's latest book is entitles, "Right is Wrong." To be honest, I am not sure that the media is truly biased in either direction.

Arianna Huffington talks about the shift of the left to the center and the conservative bias of the media. She fails, however, to give the American people any credit whatsoever for being able to think for themselves.

If she is so convinced that American sentiment has truly shifted to center and she feels that the media is extreme right, then Americans must have changed DESPITE the media...so what difference does it make what bias the press might have, if any?

Further, how can anyone who is expressing their own OPINION and political views ever be WRONG? They might not actually AGREE with Arianna Huffington...but that doesn't make them WRONG.

I am not saying that Arianna Huffington is WRONG either. Perhaps her theory might better be explained by the realization that the American population is no longer decidedly left OR right in their political views.

Perhaps there has been a blurring of sentiment on the part of the American People because they are now better informed by the media, hence have varying views that don't fall into distinct party lines depending upon their beliefs regarding various issues.

Granted, many of the "left" wing views, particulary regarding global warming are of extreme importance and should be brought to the attention of all Americans by the media. My theory is that many issues are of such great importance that they fall beyond traditional party lines.

Just a reminder, I am still running for President...so there is still hope.;) If enough people write me in on election day it will send a clear message to Washington to address the issues.

Baby Mama Trailer-Baby Mama opened in theaters today. Baby Mama is the story of a mama who wants a baby. In order to be a mama she has to hire a baby mama who has decent genes suitable for reproduction. In other words, Baby Mama features a woman who insists upon having a baby and contributing to an already over-populated world even though nature clearly did not intend for her to reproduce.

The movie Baby Mama is probably so cute and funny that we forget just how selfish this woman actually is as she tries to force another baby into this crowded world to help fill our landfills with disposable diapers.

In Baby Mama, a self-absorbed woman is apparently so obsessed with reproducing her apparently defective genes that she will go to any lengths to have a baby even though she is apparently incapable of sustaining any sort of meaningful relationship with the opposite sex. This is just wonderful...use technology to reproduce the genes of an emotionally-crippled woman...just what we need.

Don't get me wrong, the movie looks to be quite entertaining if you can accept this woman's selfish insistance on forcing a baby onto planet earth.;) I am sure that many people will enjoy this movie and sit in awe of a modern woman who is so successful in a career, yet lame at relationships, that she is forced to bring another baby into the world through the use of cash and contracts instead of any kind of human emotion.

I had to laugh when the video started..."I'm 37 and I want a baby..." My immediate reaction is ... so what? :D When I was 12 I wanted a puppy...I didn't get one, but I got over it.;)

Well, you can decide for yourself if you want to spend approximately two hours watching a couple of women that are obviously obsessed with their ovaries. On the positive side, both women are hot.;) You can always just sit and make fun of it in your mind as you cuddle with your date.;) Hot chicks love these sort of movies that make them feel all empowered and independent of the relationship side of reproduction...should make for a hot date.;)

As you can see, the Apophis Asteriod has a number (uses hushed tones) this is REAL...this is not a drill.:D

The actual Apophis Asteriod Impact (see, it even sounds like something from Dr. Suess) is projected to occur in 2036; however, the entire impact scenerio as so vividly portrayed in this impressive video that you will now want to miss, depends upon an earlier drive by of the Apophis Asteroid in 2029 that causes a diversion in the flight pattern that results in the now infamous Apophis Asteriod Impact with Earth that is projected to possibly occur in 2036. (Or, about the time you finally finish decyphering the last sentence.) (I gave my English teachers fits when I was in school.) ;)

What does the Apophis Asteroid mean for you? It means you better make sure that your investments mature well before 2036 so you can enjoy the fruits of your investing labors before the bit Apophis Asteroid impact occurs. It also means that a lot of your tax dollars will probably be spent in an effort to divert the Apophis Asteroid.;) Afterall, it might actually happen...or not...who knows;) But I can tell you one thing for sure...someone will make billions of dollars from the 99942 Apophis Asteroid...just wait and see.;) And that actually WILL happen...and that is the important thing...right?.:D

If this research leads to that brilliant new discovery, how can that possibly help us to solve the myriad of social, economic and global problems that are sending planet earth into a crisis?

Is it just me, or has anyone else been thinking that the Extreme Makeover Home Edition TV show needs an extreme makeover?

To be honest, when the Extreme Makeover Home Edition show first started, I enjoyed it. They actually remodeled or revamped an existing home. Now, the Extreme Makeover Home Edition show has a different focus. Instead of remodeling or repairing an existing home, they often just bulldoze it and build some sort of mansion all on the premise of wanting to help someone with some disability.

The show now seems sickening and overly-materialistic. The materials that are taken from the existing home often seem wasted, generating a huge pile of waste that many times does not seem to be recycled or reused.

The Extreme Makeover Home Edition crew is always all teary-eyed over some terrible malady that is suffered by some poor disabled person, warranting the construction of a mansion at a cost that most people who are free from disability would not be able to earn in a lifetime...sigh. It just all seems so fake.

The end result makes me want to barf. It seems one huge materialistic mess and it often irks me when they pay lipservice to some "green" earth-saving product as they continue to bulldoze and build huge structures that are hardly necessary or earth-friendly.

The Jonas Brothers breaking up? I know it is hard to believe (in fact, VERY hard to believe) but according to MSB news, the Jonas Brothers may be breaking up and Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas are making plans to go their separate ways...hmmm, I am not sure I believe this.

I can't imagine that The Jonas Brothers are breaking up one of the most-popular groups around right now. It isn't like this is a bunch of old musicians who are burnt out from years of being on the road. When I read that The Jonas Brothers announced via Joe Jonas that The Jonas Brothers are splitting up I thought they must be insane.:D In fact, I rather doubt it is really true...hmmm, doubtful.

For one thing they state some pretty ambititious goals for musicians their age. Further, why mess with success? Building a winning band is quite a challenge and The Jonas Brothers certainly have a winning band. It makes no sense to me that they would each go their separate ways...particularly since they are a family band. So until I read this in another source, I remain doubtful. Rock on Jonas Brothers.

Now I am not saying that this is as huge a "minor blip" or "misstatement" as was made regarding Hillary Clinton's whopper about her trip to Bosnia, but I don't see that Cindy McCain is exactly in there slogging around with a shovel digging up landmines. I am not saying that Cindy McCain isn't hot either.;) I am just saying that I don't see a lot of clearing landmine action going on in this video.;)
