Finally, the billions and billions of dollars spent on the space program is made worthwhile by this never-before-seen video of a Mars Avalanche. Before this, I had always felt that the space program didn't really produce enough to merit the tremendous cost. Granted, the space program made possible the technology that allows teenage girls to constantly text messages with little or no real meaning, but beyond that, I felt the whole space program was pretty much a waste.;)
The Mars Avalanche is unique in that most of the surface of Mars has stood untouched for millions of years and the Mars Avalanche is a highly-unusual event...so enjoy the video.;)
