No Fault Divorce - No Fault Divorce is under scrutiny by several states due to pressure from right-wing conservatives. One could argue that both parties are at fault for choosing marriage as a lifestyle in the first place.;)
I had to laugh when I saw that no fault divorce was being examined as a reasonable way to end a marriage. I guess the debate here is fault vs. no fault divorce. I decided to see what YouTube had to offer on the subject of No Fault Divorce.
Actually, the woman in this video makes some very-valid points about the subject of no fault divorce and she will probably make someone a great wife someday.
My thought on the whole no fault divorce issus is...Why do people get married in the first place? If you are interested in no fault divorce, then you are probably wondering the same thing.;) Nothing requires you to actually get married. I guess both parties are at fault if they choose marriage to begin with...but that is not why no fault divorce is underfire.
My guess is that no fault divorce is under pressure by the right because some conservatives believe divorce has become "too easy." I am further guessing that many want the process to be painful for the sake of the family and so that those entering into marriage give it more thought before they tie the knot. (I am just full of bad rhymes and puns tonight...sigh.)
To be honest, no fault divorce doesn't seem to make much sense to me. If I were married and wanted a divorce, of COURSE it would be her fault...let justice be served.:D (Have you ever noticed that I will say just about anything?)
