At first, many accepted the apology from Miley Cyrus at face value. They assumed that poor-innocent 15 year-old Miley Cyrus was the victim of manipulation during the now infamous Miley Cyrus photo session at Vanity Fair.
Now, a video has emerged, according to USA Today, "Widely viewed video of the shoot shows a cooperative Cyrus posing at length with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus." This video has led many to wonder if indeed Miley Cyrus was truly manipulated during the photo session since her father Billy Ray Cyrus was obviously present and involved during the photo session.
It is very easy to do something questionable and then say..."I'm sorry." I guess the question on many people's minds is...Is an apology for what seems at face value a publicity stunt, sincere? Does an apology make everything allright if you willingly participate in something that they feel is dubious in nature? Are people beginning to apologize after the fact in order to do things that they know at the time that they shouldn't do? I'll let you decide.
