This is the official Hi.lary Clinton video from Hillary Clinton's Official Website. It is entitled, "Running to Be President of the Entire Country." The comment section is full of warm-fuzzy comments, glowing praise for Hillary, and other cliches like this one from one of her supporters, "gayboitoy82" ( I am NOT making this name up...if you don't believe me go look.:D):
"a vote for Hillary is a vote for change. a vote for Hillary is a vote for progress."
Hillary vows to, "enlist the best we have in America." Does anyone honestly think that this will happen? Do you really feel that I will get a call from Hillary bright and early the day after the election if she wins? Will she lead us into becoming a nation of infinite compromise? Have you ever known something that resulted from compromise that didn't turn out generic? This quote came to mind:
"Compromise makes a good umbrella, but a poor roof; it is temporary expedient, often wise in party politics, almost sure to be unwise in statesmanship." - James Russell Lowell
And in the words of Andrew Carnegie, "The 'morality of compromise' sounds contradictory. Compromise is usually a sign of weakness, or an admission of defeat. Strong men don't compromise, it is said, and principles should never be compromised."
Just what we need, another weak president.;)
I must say that I was disappointed to learn that she would be President of the "entire" country...I was hoping my neighborhood would be left out.:) Maybe we can reach a compromise on that.;) The chances sound good...that word "entire" sounded a bit totalitarian...I am sure that she and I can hammer this out at our first meeting.:D
